(R.I.P.)
1990-2003
Thee Buddhajews were an experimental lo-fi/rocknroll 2-piece band that lasted from 1990 - 2003, but have unfortunately went their separate ways. There were several members and collaborators in the band over the years but the band primarily consisted of J. "STONEY" STONE & CHUCKkey.
For the moment, there are no plans for a reunion, but it's not impossible...
Starting with Midland Valley High School's small "skater" crowd audience in 1990, Thee Buddhajews churned out poorly recorded home-made lo-fi valley-rock crap on a microcassette recorder as they worked their way down to the "big city" Augusta scene, playing at and around "The Capri Cinema" & "The Hangnail Gallery" as well as a small, short live set at the local record shop "Infernal Racket". Although there are a few decent "live" accounts, they feel the best stuff was recorded on the 4-track cassette recorders at their shitty lo-fi home studios deep in the heart of the Valley. There are countless tapes and CDs that have been released over the years (there's even a bootleg!--google it!), and although none exist for sale at this time, you can download random tracks here. Be sure to check back frequently, as new items will be posted as quickly as can be done. There's around 13 years worth of recordings, so there is a lot of good and bad, really awful and embarrassing shit to post.
Enjoy!

The song "SUPERTRAIN" (a.k.a. "SOUPTRAIN") was the last song ever recorded by THEE BUDDHAJEWS.
Below are:
The full length acoustic original
featuring STONEY STONE, CHUCKkey and
Andrew Benjamin (on trumpet)
The "edited" version of the previous, which accompanies the third track in the series
and here it is...the very last, ULTRA-RARE recording
that THEE BUDDHAJEWS ever made....
Here's the cassette tape art from "RETURN TO THEE VALLEY OF THEE BUDDHAJEWS" (mid-90's, currently unavailable)
and the most recent CD only release "THEE END" (still available, email us for details)
